A better wording for the question would be: "How many children were in your family growing up?" or something along those lines to prevent confusion.

Yeah... definitely confusing...
You may BE, a sibling, but you aren't your own sibling, so you shouldn't count yourself, in terms of how many siblings you have.
As it is, I can't vote on this one. Sorry.
