You are not your sibling. Why would we include ourselves? That is a bit confusing.

A better wording for the question would be: "How many children were in your family growing up?" or something along those lines to prevent confusion.

True that you may be "a" sibling, but you cannot be your own sibling...

Yeah... definitely confusing...
You may BE, a sibling, but you aren't your own sibling, so you shouldn't count yourself, in terms of how many siblings you have.
As it is, I can't vote on this one. Sorry.
