Who were your imaginary friends growing up?

Last week my daughter was playing with a little girl who kept talking to her imaginary friend instead of to my daughter. Her mom had to keep reminding her that she had a real friend to play with (they live out in the boonies, so she is alone a lot). It was pretty funny.

I had them growing up. Some even had background stories to boot. How about you?

But I am 52 and have a rich and varied storyline that started when I was a child and continues to this day - as I change and grow, so do the characters.
