We all want HDTV, but do you actually have it? Or are you like me, still waiting for prices to come down?

TVs that can interpret HD signals are not any more expensive than similar models who don't carry that technology. You might be confusing HDTV with Plasma and Flat Screen technology (as is pictured in the image you have next to the "I have HDTV" answer).
I want a Big Screen TV and I want it to be HDTV capable since that is the new standard. I don't care if it's Plasma or whatever (flat screen would be a plus though) as long as it has good performance and isn't too expensive. Under $1000 would be ideal.
Don't just wait for prices... Wait for the whole copyright thing to settle out.
If the media companies have their way, certain TVs will be crippled because they aren't compatible with the latest copy protection scheme. (which changes every week, at this point)
Look up the 'broadcast token' business that's going on right now. If your TV doesn't support it, you won't be able to watch movies/channels in their full resolution, you'll get a degraded quality.
Basically, if you buy an HDTV now, expect to be screwed in the next year or so.
