I feel like someone rotting in a cell the rest of their life is much more torture than just being killed. It's psychological torture...knowing the world still exists and goes on every day but not being able to participate in it. That would be hell...although my views might change if someone I loved was killed.

Interesting argument, let me see if I have this straight:

So, life in prison is worse than the death penalty and that is why you are against the death penalty. But, if a loved one was murdered you may support the death penalty, the less harsh punishment. Very interesting.

And based on the comment rating you have it appears other people seem to agree with this, death is simply not sadistic enough. I really had no idea.

If you released all the minor criminals who more than likely will never pose a threat to society after they've served a reasonable amount of time, there'd be ample room in prison for those who don't belong in society.
