Thank you for visiting Grupthink, and welcome. Before you use Grupthink, you should read this document. Any use of Grupthink services ("the Service") constitutes acceptance of the terms below, including any future changes.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service.

You are responsible for your password security and the actions of anyone using your account.

While parts of the Service are provided free of charge, you might need to pay to access the internet, and you are solely responsible for these costs.

You understand and agree not to post content that is protected by third party copyright, and you further acknowledge and agree that repeated copyright infringement will result in account closure.

You acknowledge that some content contributed by users may be adult or mature in nature. Grupthink is not responsible for user-contributed material, and may not respond to complaints concerning material that you find objectionable, offensive, inappropriate, lewd or otherwise in poor taste. If you believe user-contributed material constitutes a criminal act, email abuse -at- grupthink.com and contact the appropriate law enforcement agency.

Your use of the Service is not unlimited. Grupthink may terminate your account, create or alter access controls, or any other changes to the Service with or without notifying you at any time.

Grupthink may provide links to third-party websites, including advertisers' websites. Grupthink is not responsible for and does not warrant the services of those third parties.

You agree not to copy, reverse-engineer, exploit, create a derivative work of the Service, or otherwise infringe upon our intellectual property rights, except as expressly defined in this or future agreements.

Notifying Grupthink of Alleged Copyright Infringement

To notify Grupthink of alleged copyright infringement, you must provide the following:

  • a sworn statement that you are the owner of the copyright in question and all information you provide is true
  • specific URLs or other specific evidence that you are the copyright holder
  • specific URLs of the allegedly infringing material
  • your complete contact information including phone number and email address

Use of the Service is at your sole risk. Grupthink does not review or evaluate answers or results, and Grupthink has no obligation to review content created by third parties except as expressly stated. Grupthink does not warrant either the results to be obtained from the Service or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error free. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, and with no implied warranty of merchantability and no implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. Neither Grupthink nor anyone else involved in creating, producing, or delivering the Service shall be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of the use of the Service, the inability to use the Service, or any breach of any warranty. Grupthink shall not be liable or responsible for any damage suffered by you for damages, including but not limited to, loss of data, delays, nondeliveries, mis-deliveries, service interruptions, negligence of Grupthink or the negligence of Grupthink's partners, vendors, employees or contractors. Neither shall Grupthink be liable or responsible for your negligence, actions, errors, or omissions. The provisions of this paragraph will survive termination of this agreement.

You will indemnify and hold harmless Grupthink against any loss, damage, cost and expense which Grupthink may incur or become liable for by reason of claims or actions for libel, violation of privacy rights, plagiarism, copyright infringement, and claims arising in connection with data transmitted pursuant to the terms and provisions of this agreement and any claims or suits resulting from your use of the Service including, without limitation, the expense and cost of defending any and all such claims and actions. The provisions of this paragraph shall survive termination of this agreement.

Grupthink may terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, with or without notice, at Grupthink's sole discretion. Grupthink will not be liable for any damages or harm resulting from such termination.

Our failure to enforce any of the terms of this agreement does not constitute waiver of any terms.

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Montana, USA. Should any term be declared invalid by a court with jurisdiction, then the invalid term shall be severable and the remainder of this agreement shall remain in force. This agreement contains the full understanding of the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof. Any communication or correspondence with you which is in any way inconsistent with, or which adds to, the provisions of this agreement is null and void.

Your continued usage of the Service after such a change constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
