Is bonsai intentionally misspelled?
Since it's transliterated from the Japanese, I don't know if youi could say it's misspelled. How many ways have you seen Muammar Qaddafi transliterated? But, you seem to have a point in that when I google bansai, I get 59,000 responses, but when I google bonsai, I get 11,000,000 responses.
fair enough, I figured I was missing something, and I don't think there is Japanese character support
No but someone obviously fell on their head after being born.
You should visit Mendocino. It has Redwoods and Pygmy Forest. About as close as you get to Bonsai in the wild.
Your address to the red states, on the "Take the Blue States and Secede" thread, should be put into action immediately.
Hey, Bansai!
In answer to your query "How did it work out", please see http://www.grupthink.com/answer/14548.
Did bring a smile to my face! Don't feel too bad at all!
This (the crab picture) makes me very happy.
no more infringement?
Infringement?
Wow someone who is also well read AND has an incredibly twisted sense of humor.
whats up!
Hey man, thanks for the encouragement!
I hope I am successful in the literary circuit. I am pitching my book, "Berdymukhammedov Faces a Bully," which is about a small Turkmenistani boy who feels outnumbered and displaced in a passe, cookie-cutter suburban elementary school and, as a result of his insecurity, is tormented and disparaged by his fellow classmates and class bully, John Smith, whose father is a GI currently in Afghanistan.
John wants to be just like his father so he completely mimics his father and molds himself around him. Unfortunately, John has also adopted his fathers vitriolic racism and badgers poor Berdymukhammedov.
Young Berdymukhammedov learns that he should never deny his heritage for social cohesion so he comes to school with a bomb strapped to his chest and blows the school to hell.
It's a book about never denying your heritage, self, morals and values. It also concerns quashing stereotypes.
I'll send you an advance copy.
