I have to give these guys another 1 up. We're renting a house from them and our heat went out this Sunday. The website says their office hours are Mon-Fri and a few hours on Saturday. I called the main number anyway and someone actually took my call even though it was Sunday.

I told the lady I spoke with that our heat was out and just asked if there was anything that could be done. She took my information and within about an hour there was a gentleman from Mountain Gas at our place. The guy from Mountain Gas was really nice and got us back up and running in no time.

We've had great experiences with GCPM in the past, but lately they've taken to slacking! 2 months ago (June) when I dropped off rent I gave them a list of things that needed to be fixed. Not life-or-death stuff, but annoying problems nonetheless. To date, (8/16) they still haven't fixed any of these issues. Some of which were THEIR fault.

We had a pipe break in the wall behind our washer and it took nearly an hour for someone to come over to shut off the water main. (It is located in the apt below us and our neighbors were gone.) After this sprayed into our kitchen for an hour, we had about two inches of standing water. They did not help clean up any of the water, or provide fans so that we could dry out the floor, adjacent carpeting, etc. They removed the threshold trim and left it in another room. Consequently I stepped on a nail upon returning. They also broke OFF one of the taps to our hot water heater, which remains unrepaired, leaving us with 7 minutes of hot water for dishes, showers/baths, laundry etc.

Our fridge continually ruins food due to bad seals. Water leaks inside of it, into our vegetable drawer, and ruins any produce in there. The back of the fridge (inside) grows ice that freezes to any produce NOT placed in the drawer, as well. Having greens is impossible unless we re-bag them and place them in the door. Our ice-coated freezer grows about an inch of ice per week that we have to scrape off constantly. Once again, probably bad seals, but GCPM ignores our requests.

We mentioned on August 3rd when we paid rent that we had a new electrical problem (sparking inside of a lightswitch), and someone was sent out THE NEXT DAY to fix that. Apparently they're not concerned with repairs until your house may catch fire...

We also STILL have asbestos insulation, to boot. I know that this is the property owner's responsibility to pay to have amended but I'm not even sure GCPM has told them about it or asked to have it replaced.

When asked (I prod them every time I drop off rent now) why we haven't had our issues from June fixed, they tell us that they are just "very busy" and basically write us off. I've been growing increasingly annoyed with their staff's apathy toward our concerns and maintainence issues. Even when we drop off the rent check we have to prompt them to please give us a receipt! I'm not sure if or when these things will be resolved, but we are definitely moving out of our house when our lease is up and we have stopped recommending them to our friends and coworkers here in Missoula!
