This is actually a really bad idea for a few reasons. Not only does it not give your body time to properly digest your food before you sleep (which can cause weight gain), but by eating, it activates your metabolism which means it'll take you even longer to fall asleep.
I never said it was healthy or smart, it just seems to be what I feel like doing in the middle of the night. I didn't know that about making it take longer to sleep... that sucks.
