The real Axis of evil.
Have you ever had, a medical or legal problem that has been dragged out with unnecessary bureaucracy, when whats really behind it is profit?
Capitalism is life blood for our economies & all the luxuries that follow, School's, Hospitals etc. But when Blanket Capitalism occurs, it comes hand in hand with the corruption normally associated with non capitalist systems. Leaving us with mass frustration, inflamed by a lack of Faith, Trust & Confidence in our systems.
What i'm referring to by 'Blanket Capitalism' are the problems we have when competition for financial gain seems to know few boundaries under a capitalist system. When capitalism is allowed to run wild, and ethical standards are often washed aside.
There are area's where capitalism as a means of production, operated for profit by competing unregulated individuals, does not belong!
"Cash for babies" the adoption scandal' is an extreme example, whereby the sourcing of product ie "babies for adoption" is handled using unethical methods by companies who pay more attention to profit than ethics. It's difficult to regulate outside of government control.
Our legal systems & some medical care systems are among other prime examples of this, where the quality essential public services, suffers extensively or breaks down completely.
If there existed an 'ethical standards commission' within government, made up from the appropriate qualified people, then maybe these areas could function properly under a capitalist system.
Capitalism is the economic system in which the means of production are owned by private persons, and operated for profit[1] and where investments, distribution, income, production and pricing of goods and services are predominantly determined through the operation of a free market.[2] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capitalism
