See, here is a situation where the "cause" of homosexuality cannot be measured or proven. I have known some people who have been abused (and a couple of incest survivors, as well), and some are gay, some straight. This leads me to believe it IS inherent, though sometimes one's inclinations can be thwarted due to trauma. Again, only the affected person can know the truth. Interesting point, trishhelen.
